The room was freezing on arrival but warmed up quickly. The friendly staff and lush garden with rabbits made the experience enjoyable, although areas needed some attention due to wear.

The 'Deluxe Double Room, Non-Smoking' offers a spacious feel, perfect for lounging after a long journey. The cleanliness is well maintained, which definitely helps counterbalance some of the less pleasant elements.
A significant damp odor permeates the place. it's a real annoyance that clung to my clothes by the time I left. Dining options are sparse, with a MacDonald’s a few miles away meaning you’re forced to drive if you're looking for a proper meal. The outdated rooms and bathrooms could use a refresh, but the low price makes it a compromise that some might find acceptable, though I wouldn’t want to pay more for what’s on offer. You’ll want to be aware of the surrounding traffic noise as well, which could be off-putting if you're seeking rest.

great spot for exploring parks and local attractions
My stay was pleasant with a warm and spacious room, making it a great base for weekend strolls to nearby parks and landmarks like the South Wonston Water Tower, just about 4.5 km away, and the lovely open spaces perfect for walking. the only downside was the lack of adequate parking facilities nearby, but overall, it was a nice experience.

but the room did feel a bit outdated. also, there was some noise from the services road that was kinda annoying.

The quirky but lovely lady at the reception made checking in a breeze, and the room was cozy for a quick stay. I enjoyed the small garden area to unwind and the comfortable lounge where I could relax while watching some TV. The only downside was the tight space around the toilet roll holder in the bathroom, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

Had a great time here with my friends! We visited the Military Museums and Finkley Down Farm, both were fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring the area and the beds were comfy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. a solid place for a group getaway!
On the downside, we did notice that the heater in our room wasn’t working well, making it a bit chilly at night. It could use some improvement.
